What to consider when ordering and receiving large items?Updated 4 days ago

When ordering large and valuable items from Zenwaro there is a complex packaging process that occurs behind the scenes and before each order is fulfilled to the selected carrier. Large and valuable products are inspected, assembled, and packaged at time individual orders are placed. This process may require 2-3 days to package and fulfill to carrier. A brief list of the Large / Valuable products and collections are included at the bottom of this article.

⚙︎ EXPECT SOME PROACTIVE COMMUNICATION.📧 

Within 24 hours after order is placed the Zenwaro fulfillment team will send important correspondence. This email will contain important information regarding your order, specific instructions, and a few questions for the customer and/or recipient of the order. The main objectives of this proactive communication is..

  •  To assist our fulfillment team to prepare items in the safest and most secure manner that is  particular to individual customers / recipients. 
  • Not all shipping carriers are the same. For the safety of items in transport and in consideration of recipient's receiving capabilities; Zenwaro reserves the right to choose  optimal shipping based on the above factors. There are 2 types of 3rd-party shipping carriers contracted to transport and deliver customer's orders: Small Parcel and LTL freight carriers
    • Parcel Carriers like UPS, USPS, FedEx transport individual boxes up to 107"in/270cm girth size and under 70Lbs/31Kg weight. 
    • LTL freight carriers transport wood/carton crates and multiple boxes secured to a pallet or skid pad. For orders that are over 80Lbs/36Kg weight. Orders transported by LTL freight carrier require: delivery appointment and other special delivery accessories. Most LTL freight carriers are required to deliver cargo to entrance of delivery address. These are the policies declared by all LTL freight carriers not by Zenwaro.
  • To help prepare individual customers / recipients for the receiving and safely unpacking of larger items we send proactive email communication within the first 24 hours.
    • A response from the intended recipient is required before we can fulfill the packaged order to the carrier for transport. 

⚙︎ PREPARE YOURSELF FOR SAFE DELIVERY.📦

Once packages and or crates are packaged and fulfilled to the carrier two order fulfillment notifications will be sent via email. The first order fulfillment notification will contain basic tracking information. This second email will share important instructions, suggested best practices to help facilitate successful delivery and a safe unpacking process. A few specific details unique to your individual items and order.

Upon receiving this correspondence we kindly suggest...

  • Read the entire message.
  • Review the attached images of your shipment taken before fulfillment to shipping carrier.
  • Follow the progress of your shipment during transport via the carrier's tracking service.
  • Refer to the instructions in this message and within your shipment at the time of receiving and unpacking.

⚙︎ LARGE & FRAGILE PRODUCTS THAT REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING 

Not Limited To The Below List...

Example  large / oversized shipments, prepared & packaged by Zenwaro fulfillment team.

Palletized cargo that would be carried and delivered 
only by LTL freight carrier. 
*Special receiving requirements required.

*Commercial address maybe required for delivery.
Oversized package/parcel cargo 
carried & delivered by parcel carrier (UPS or FedEx).

Shipping/transportation times are determined by the carrier and the mode shipping service selected at checkout. Zenwaro's responsibility is focused on professional and secure packaging protocols that transpire within a timely manner. 

  • All carriers are contracted third parties while we have much experience working with individual carriers and will select the right or preferred carrier for your order and delivery destination. We do not have control over individual carrier's operating model or delivery process.
