Yes both electrical kits and mounting hardware are rated for outdoor instalment. Consulting a professional electrician for proper and safe installation is highly suggested.
Mediterra pendants can be displayed/installed indoor, outdoor, and commercial spaces.
• For safety purposes outdoor instalment must be under a roof or covered area with adequate and permanent electrical source. e.g.: Pergola, patio, gazebo, porch, porte cochere.
• A permanent structure with full cover or semi covered roof and access to proper electrical outlet.
• Suggested electrical source: 12-volt low-voltage via GFCI-protected 120-volt outlet.
• Make sure there is adequate space around pendant to keep protected from potential high-winds.
Each pendant includes quality brass strain relief cord grips. These metal strain relief cord grips have several functions along with holding the electrical in place and reduce any tension applied to the cord. They also help to seal the pendant reducing any moisture or water from reaching the electrical socket.

Each Mediterra pendant is fully outfitted, which means all components required for a typical residential or commercial installation are included and ship within pendant box. We’ve done the hard work of sourcing top quality UL/CSA certified electrical components and best-in-class decorative mounting hardware. This ensures that you have everything necessary for a secure and proper setup. Below are the electrical kit and mounting hardware component lists included with each pendant:

Certified UL/CSA Electrical kit included with each Pendant.
- x1 Black Glazed Porcelain Medium Base E-26 Electrical Socket. Power source of 660watt Max. - 250volt Max., allow for a strong incandescent bulb or an energy efficient LED bulb.
- x1 UL/CSA certified electrical cable 36"in length 16 gauge(thickness), Brown jacket.
- Solid Steel Pendant cap finished by hand in matching Oxidized Finish or Burn Charcoal finish.
- Pendant caps include the following UL/CSA certified internal hardware that affix E-26 Electrical Socket & conceal / protect electrical lamp cable.
Mounting Hardware kits include.
Quality UL/CSA and best in class decorative hardware included with each Pendant.
- Solid brass loop with wireway in antique bronze finish - 1/8ips.
- Dual Threaded downrod Industrial Steel decorative finish - 1/8ips. Lengths vary and depend on individual pendant design.
- x2 Heavy Duty Hex Head Nuts Solid Brass, 3/16”in. - 1/8ips.
- 1 Solid Steel Ceiling Canopy simple and modern appearance; in matching finish. Includes the following UL/CSA certified internal mounting hardware for secure installation.
What If I Need More Chain/Cable For My Mediterra Pendants?
Not every space is the same and when it comes to authentic pendant lighting every installation may present a different set of requirements. Varying ceiling heights is the most common factor of differentiation.
The most common standard ceiling height is 8’feet/2.45meters (96”in/243cm). With 9’ft ceiling (2.75meters - 108”in/274cm) and 10’ft (3meters - 120”in/304cm) ceiling heights average out at the second most common of main floor plans in newer homes. The electrical and mounting component kits currently included with our fully outfitted Mediterra pendant are mostly sufficient for most common floor plans.
*But, this completely depend on where you want the base of the pendant to hang in your particular space. The surest and most straight-forward way to know if the Mediterra pendant mounting component kits will be sufficient for your space is to know the Total-Drop-Length for your space.

How To Find/Calculate The Total-Drop-Length For My Mediterra Pendants?
- Grab your favorite tape measure and trusted ladder if necessary.📏🪜
- Measure from the point in your ceiling where the ceiling canopy will be installed and feed the tape measure down to the floor or table immediately below.
- Now find the area where you want the very bottom point of the pendant to hang.
- SUCCESS!🥳 This measurement is your Total-Drop-Length.
We have calculated and listed the Total-Drop-Length for each Mediterra Pendant design in the collection.
- To find the Total-Drop-Length visit the product detail page of the specific Mediterra Pendant design.
- Click on the "Dimensions" drop down section/field.
- It will be found just below the "ADD TO CART" and "BUY IT NOW" buttons.
- If the measurement you have taken in your space are either at or below this length, then the electrical and mounting component kit included with pendant should be a sufficient amount.
Choose Your Bulbs Wisely.💡
E26 medium base sockets are used for all Mediterra Pendants. Any bulb that has a E26 medium base will fit your pendant.
Power source: 660watt Max.-250volt Max. allows for strong incandescent & halogen bulbs or energy efficient LED bulb.
There is a universe of different bulb types out there. If you have never given much thought to illuminated ambiance, then the process to find the right bulb for your pendant and space can start out confusing and quickly turn frustrating.

What Happens After Check Out? How Long Will Fulfillment To Carrier Take For My Pendant Order?
All pendant lights are cleaned, inspected, assembled, then expertly packaged on a per order basis after checkout.
Once and order is placed there is a complex assembly and packaging process that occurs behind the scenes and before each order is fulfilled to the selected carrier. This process may require 2-3 days to package and fulfill to carrier.
